The last months, I have spent a significant amount of money on trumpet books. This have made me see more clearly, and understand the instrument better.

But the problem with most trumpet books, is that they usually describe the authors way of playing the trumpet.
There are several ways to play the instrument, no method is more correct than another.
The trumpet player must find out for himself/herself what works best for him/her. Experimenting with different techniques and embouchures helps maximising the individuals potential.

Therefore, I recommend getting hold of all the literature you can get your hands on. Another book might have another angle that makes you see clearly. (Pity that most books don't describe the different ways to play the trumpet.)

Some of the books that I have read during this project :

Most of these books can be purchased via Internet. (Links are to places where book can be purchased.)
